Far-right media outlet slammed for publishing names of FBI agents in Trump raid
Washington Examiner ^ | 08/13/2022 | Cami Mondeaux

Breitbart is facing widespread criticism after the far-right media outlet published the names of FBI agents who carried out the raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

The conservative outlet published a leaked version of the search warrant that allowed the FBI to execute the raid hours before the document was unsealed Friday evening. Breitbart released a version of the warrant that included the names of the FBI special agent and supervisor agent who signed off on the receipts detailing the documents taken from the Mar-a-Lago residence — prompting widespread criticism that the outlet put a target on the agents.

“ Unfortunately these public servants are being used by their political superiors.”

The old Nuremberg Defense. How fitting.

They’re not being used. They’re being complicit.

The thing I keep thinking about since th e raid is Marcos & Aquino. I get a sick feeling seeing what has happened since Osama Obama came and never left. It seems he & his people started much of this.

They could have refused.

Spot on. I have often told my employer "no". In fact, I recently told them I wasn't asking their permission, they were just deciding whether I continued to work for them.

In fact, these agents get off on dressing up, strutting around and putting their jackboots on people's necks. And to get to do it to a former president, I will bet the line was around the block.

Law enforcement tends to attract deeply flawed people and LE orgs do a craptastic job of filtering them out, often because that is who is running the org.

Poor little fascists. They wanted to anonymously trample on the Constitution.

Publishing the full search warrant is a bit different than “doxing” someone for what they think or say. These names apparently are on the warrant which is a document that would actually be published by the court in my state.

"I was just following orders" does not excuse dishonorable behavior. Then again, personal integrity is an anachronism; nothing more than a pesky inconvenience in our modern American society. I mean, these agents are just trying to earn their pay and make a living, right? And it's much easier to blindly follow orders than it is to actually think about what they've been ordered to do and the damage caused by these actions to Liberty.

Have I got that right? I think so ... and it doesn't bode well for our Republic that is hanging on by a thread in political hospice.

You have agents with 15-20 years in who don’t want to lose retirement benefits if they quit.

Someone I know suggests that someone in DC is gay and wanted strips of Melania’s clothes torn off as an attack on her.

Yes.

But you know: career, retirement, then double dipping, maybe a shot at triple dipping, all these are so much more important than consciousness and history.
