He was good at DOS and sold a lot of software... that is slow and mostly obsolete in today’s environment.

That makes megalomania-boy master of the universe.

"It sets a clear example of what serious climate action looks like,"

I wonder if he even realizes he admitted the Inflation Reduction Act has nothing to do with its name. I call the Make Inflation Worse Act.

I believe that the timing of the Mar-a-lago raid was probably intended to shift attention away from this bill and to diminish the volume of criticism likely to be heard otherwise, had that distraction not taken place.

Full electric vehicles are likely to create more problems than they solve, a better option is hybrid technology which does not require plugging in with all the attendant problems and risks. A hybrid is also noticeably less power-challenged than a full electric vehicle. It still saves about 33% on gasoline use which is both economically attractive and if you care about it, a reduction of the carbon footprint of the vehicle.

This is how Trump should go for his potential 2024 campaign, roll back the full-electric incentives in favor of hybrid, as a reasonable solution without as much risk or possible future overload of the electrical grid (and the associated issues of rare metal mining etc).

No tax incentives should be involved, the gas saving on a hybrid is enough of an incentive.

He’ll think “nothing short of extraordinary” when he wakes up some Saturday morning and Biden’s 87,000 locked and loaded IRS Stormtroopers are standing on his lawn shouting for him to open the door.
