I think the Deep State is targeting Trump because they view him as the "enemy of the state".
That said, the Democrats will be able to motivate their base to come out and vote against Trump.

Not really about the Repuke party. The people want Trump. The fact that they can’t have him because the powers that be say so is a major problem and the number one reason why he needs to be nominated and re-elected.
