This sentence summarizes how the Left ( i.e. the WashPo) believes that Wyoming voters should follow the lead of the Democrat voters and vote as instructed by those in power. No doubt, while many Wyoming voters, (and Republicans in other States), support President Trump, the overwhelming repudiation of Cheney had more to do with her failure to address or even acknowledge the needs of her voters. Cheney seemed so busy attending to the affairs of the Swamp that she forgot who sent her to Congress and why. Perhaps this is a lesson that will be learned by other RINOs who will fight against the intoxicating smell of Swamp gas and, instead, fight for their constituents
