They introduce a sexual politic in the military that destroys it.
They introduce (esp the men) serious medical issues.
And they destroy morale.
The masculine straight young men we want in Our military are not signing up. They aren’t living 24/7 with that, getting hit on, having a homo sergeant with one way to advancement etc. no.
They are destroying us.
I was discussing the past, not the present. There wasn’t such a thing as “gay” in ancient times and almost everyone was what we would consider extraordinarily unchaste in his or her behavior. Chastity was considered a humiliation, a condition of slavery. Rape was normal. (That’s why Judaism, for example, was seen as being freakish, because unchaste behavior was discouraged and punished. However, the Bible still mentions - for example - David’s love for Jonathan. Nobody was throwing rocks at them, either.)
Yes, it’s a lot different today. This courageous cat Starr is a far cry from Brad “Chelsea” Manning, who just wants to make sure all sexually confused enlisted can get gender reassignments at government expense.
A warrior is a warrior and deserves recognition for his/her bravery and contribution to the fighting force.
If all homosexual fighters and military leaders were removed from the history books, those who study history would be left with a lot of questions. It’s not their fault the world is in such a pickle today and I feel it’s wrong to blame them.
