Two new polls of the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania suggest that the race may be closer than previous polls — and pundits — have suggested.
The race between Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D) and Trump-endorsed Dr. Mehmet Oz (R) is being closely watched. Sen. Pat Toomey (R) is retiring, giving Democrats an opportunity to pick up a seat and thwart Republican ambitions to take control of the upper chamber of Congress.
Fetterman has led Oz in most polls, often by double digits. However, the race may be tightening.
One poll, by former Republican internal pollster Carleton Polling, suggests that Fetterman is less than one point ahead:

Republicans really need to show up. Look what happened to the Senate races in Georgia when Republicans did not show up to vote in 2021. We got two Democrats, inflation, a recession, an IRS larger than most of the word’s armies and a tax hike.
Yep, that happens. Dr. Oz is too liberal for many here. But, he is who the GOP voters of PA nominated.
Trump was “too liberal” for many here in 2016, especially on social issues.

That’d work too. The guy has a creep factor of 11 on a 10 point scale.
Oz needs some real help being a politician. His ad complaining about rising food prices was a good IDEA but then handled in the dumbest way possible.
He also may not be as bad as people make it seem. Half the GOP was bagging on Trump in 2015
