You probably didn’t mean it that way, but it is true. The college undergraduate degree is becoming the new high school diploma. Those who are serious about their careers now have at least a masters.

“The Bell Curve” explains almost everything

The AVERAGE IQ of the African continent is 66. That means that half the people are LESS THAN that. That falls into the category of dangerously ignorant.

(1/2 is not technically correct from a pure statistics standpoint, but close enough for discussion purposes.)

Good of the editors at “Cal Matters” to make sure the “w” in White is ALWAYS a small letter and the “B” in “black” is always a capitalized. That should help black graduation rates.

“Carter speaks from experience:

“Math had never been his strong suit, and he failed his introductory statistics class twice.”

“You know, I don’t see those counselors who look like me, to where I’m like, okay, I’m comfortable here, you know?”

Black students obviously need a “safe space” where “w”hite People aren’t allowed in to intimidate “underrepresented minorities” - and somehow prevent them from graduating.

This is what UC Berkeley is doing.

Math also needs to be dumbed down more so more blacks are able to pass.

Problem solved.

This was in our local NextDoor app yesterday.
Anyone want there lawn mower has to be a big yard I’m 15 trying to make money mowing and weed whacking lawns I have a riding lawn mower price is per yard and how big thanks and Hayden area
I did not make that up. In fact, no matter how hard I tried, I could not write that. Here in North Idaho, it's a 100% certainty that a white high school kid wrote it.

You have to want to graduate yourself in order to be sure.
You can’t always sit back and expect Social Promotion to keep giving you a free ride. You have to believe you can do it and should do so. Be your own inner Coach.
Once you are in a college, you must think for yourself.

The only admission standard is anyone who can pay the price tag, usually with tax-payer-funded financial aid.

“Students and experts identified a lack of tenured Black faculty role models and inconsistent support for campus Black resource centers that offer a sense of community and belonging as barriers to success”

Growing up I was taught looking at a person’s skin color was judgmental and I should see a person for what’s inside of them......boy that sure has changed....and not for the better I might add.

“Offer degrees for ‘just showing up’.”
Those are called education and studies degrees.

The problem is simple. They’re judging people by the color of their skin rather than the content of their character. They’re enrolling unqualified students in order to meet idiotic diversity numbers. They’re doing these black students a great disservice. It’s not just California. The Ivy Leaguers have been doing this for years - 95%+ of their diversity students fail to graduate. So the kid would have been much better off going to a state school or a trade school. More lives sacrificed on the alter of left wing idiocy.

In the mid nineties, I had dinner with two white professors who taught at an all black state university in the deep south. There were just a few white students on campus (less than 10 percent) and that was due to a court order. The professors told me the four year graduation rate was just barely ten percent.

There must be the same standard for everybody. No special privileges based on race/sex/ethnic background/intactness of all body parts/.

Then all must admit that there are differences in achievement based on race and sex and not try to cover them up by giving people diplomas and jobs that they aren’t qualified for.

Just give them degrees, anyway - as reparations. You know you want to.

When everyone is granted a college education, no standards required, then no one has a college education.

If that philosophy was actually applied in colleges across the country, college football would literally cease to exist.

Many players have been given an academic pass since probably junior high school.

Slavery should have been abolished at the writing of the Constitution.“

Yes that is obvious from here but it was a absolutely a deal breaker at that time. The southern states would’ve left the convention and US would not exist.

Do you think getting rid of slavery some 90 years earlier would make very much difference?

The Founders thought slavery was dying a natural death for both economic and moral reasons. They outlawed slavery in the Northwest Territory, and while they allowed the slave trade to continue for at least 20 years, Congress banned it as soon as the 20 years were up.

Success seems to elude a large group of people whose ancestors have lived in this country hundreds of years while newcomers who are racially different and identifiable at a glance manage to prosper. I wonder why that is.
