Evil is as evil does.
“Truth Social” was rejected not because it seems “similar” to other trade names, but because some small minds do not want the word “Truth” associated in any way, shape, form, or manner, with the name of Donald J. Trump. They probably even object to the word “Social” being used in conjunction with anything related to Trump.
Talk about getting “triggered”.
Rule #1 - Do not be easily annoyed.
Rule #2 - Do not annoy others beyond the degree necessary to get their attention.
There is a big judgment factor that must be considered between these two rules.
