I guess it’d be possible. Sort of what happened in the movie “Flight of the Intruder” and if you haven’t seen it, it’s a very good movie.

Such a feat does give heart to Americans they could have a fighting chance against F-15’s. Biden said we’d have no chance unless we too had an F-15.
The old reliable 12 gauge shotgun might be just the edge needed in such a fight.
