In a general head-to-head matchup between President Joe Biden, 79, and his predecessor Donald Trump, 76, the incumbent Democrat would emerge victorious, a new poll shows.
This is the first time a Yahoo News/YouGov poll has shown Biden besting Trump by 6 percent or more in six months – as the spring and summer saw months-long economic decline with record high gas prices, record high inflation and the country dipping into a recession with two straight quarters of negative GDP growth.
Of the 1,634 respondents, 1,247 are registered voters and would be eligible to vote in a presidential election if it were held today, according to the new poll released Tuesday.

Spot on! I saw another (Reuters) article this AM claiming (unbelievably!) that "58% of ALL Americans see the MAGA party as a 'threat to democracy' INCLUDING 'one in 4 Republicans'".
IF true, and I'm not so sure it's not, the constant hammering on Trump by ALL media - including at times Fox News - is beginning to have an effect.
That said, look at the rallies Trump can pull together and compare to the piddly few who come out to see Sleepy Joe..

The rally’s support the plan, likely a reason for the plan. No one likes Biden. Millions love Trump but millions hate Trump.
Then there’s no fear of another presidential run.

They must have the machines primed up and ready to steal the midterms.
Everyone go out and vote. Large voter turn out in person on election day, screws up their machines, and, if it doesn't result in a win, it at least makes their cheating much more difficult, and visible.

Actually, Biden’s polling numbers have moved in exactly the opposite direction of the price of gasoline since he took office. Right now gasoline is at its lowest price since January.
I bet Jessica Tarlov will be referencing this poll on the Five.
They are it’s the same people that voted for Obama twice their logic never seems to work on anything.
