On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that he liked that President Joe Biden gave the primetime speech he gave, but because people don’t get nuance, he’d be better off if he critiqued the fringe on the left on indoctrinating kids in school and crime, “and then he could not have to run again.”
Maher said, “That he did it, I liked. The way he did it, not good. … I don’t think people saw the speech, the networks didn’t carry it. His big mistake was — well, two mistakes: One, thinking that Americans can appreciate nuance. He wanted to separate Republicans from MAGA Republicans. And let me give you the four criteria he said are a MAGA Republican: you reject the election results, support the candidates who reject election results — of which there are many on the ballot this November — approve of the January 6 rioters, support the political use of violence. That’s who he was talking to. No one heard this. They didn’t watch the speech. All they heard was, he attacked us, he attacked our side. That’s where his big mistake was. People are not good enough to appreciate nuance in this country. They didn’t hear this. If he had made a speech that critiqued the fringe of both sides, I think he would be in such a winning place right now.”

The problem is that this is not the FRINGE of the left, this has become the mainstream left. I haven’t heard a single solitary democrat denounce the grooming of children, CRT, or criminals and the DAs and Judges who release dangerous criminals back on the streets. I haven’t heard Mahr actually denounce these things either.
This is a perfect example of why I pay this fool no heed.

Maher liked the weird red and black background of the stage and the creepy vibes that produced.
Yes he did and that is the main thing. He’s upset the Biden didn’t do a good job of isolating us from the Rino’s. MSM has been giving it their all ever since to do just that since Biden’s rant.
Just when you start to have a seed of respect for Maher for some of his recent comments and observations, he then goes off the rails again!
Biden supports BLM and Antifa. That’s the point of the speech - to incite leftist violence.
Divide and conquer. The British empire did that very well in the colonies. When the divisions were blurred and the natives started uniting, the colonialists were in a heap of trouble.

It’s also classic Alinsky. Isolate, marginalize, demonize. Make enough voters believe the GOP has been hijacked by hate filled violent people that we have to vote with the the rats.
Only Democrats are allowed to question and investigate election fraud.
Biden has to run again if only to keep the hounds at bay.
If he were to make himself a lame duck, then the special favors of blocking prosecutions and investigations would be gone.
The guy is going to drop dead in office if he has anything to say about it.
Biden is the supreme leader of the left fringe.

I never got past the Marines bathed in eerie black shadow and demonic red light. Biden was channeling his inner Anti-Christ from some grim Hollywood movie.
