“I got the RX 350, although I’m thinking of trading it in for something with a better MPG rating: it gets around 18 mpg, which is horrible. Toyota has to make big improvements in that area.”
Is that a high performance vehicle? My ancient 2008 Nissan Frontier pickup with 4WD and 140k miles gets 19.5 in town and 23 on the highway, with a V6, 261 horses.

It's not even close to high-performance; it's a V6 engine. It's got some nice tech, but there are others with much better tech included, and even many lower-priced vehicles are much better equipped with features. In fact, my 2014 Ford Escape had better tech than my RX 350, and also gave me 23 MPG. In a sense, one can say I took a step down with my RX 350. Now I need to figure out a way to trade it in and not lose value. It's not even at 5,000 miles yet.
