The late-blooming 2022 Atlantic Tropical Storm season is making up for lost time. A tropical system has developed in the Central Caribbean Sea. This storm system is forecast to threaten continental U.S. interests next week. While the tropical wave passed south of a key geographic area known as Hebert's Box #1, it will very likely pass through Hebert's Box #2. These boxes are useful as predictors of hurricanes that will strike South Florida. For more information about Hebert's Boxes, see Hebert Box. See graphic below which illustrated the Hebert's Boxes.

Thanks! Last few years have worn me out. How long until you retire?
If you haven’t been there, a suggestion is the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art…….
….beautiful olde masters brought from Europe
And the Ca’d d’zan Mansion……John Ringling home on the waterfront and
St.Armand’s Circle……high end shopping and dining on the bay
I don’t have a date set. Depends on how the stock market goes through next year.

Thanks for the updates. Looks like us SC FReepers are gonna get clobbered. Prayers for everyone’s safety and minimal property damage.
Bump
Is Shake Shack considered Sarasota? I’ve seen there’s several Amish restaurants in that area too?
Good plan!
And, in related news… the US Space Force has OK’d the launch of SLS for next Tuesday. But...oh looky! Here comes Ian to screw everything up….again. I’m beginning to think SLS will never make it off the ground. They’re probably gonna have to haul it back to the Vehicle Assembly Building to ride out the storm.
There are several Amish restaurants there but I’ve never heard of Shake Shack
Sorry! I looked it up. It’s Shake Station. And it’s in Ellenton. I was WAY off.😄
Irma drained Tampa and Boca Ciega bays pretty much. We were fortunate.
Been there, done that. I tell the neighbors, "if I leave try to keep up."
That's exactly what I told everyone yesterday when the center path was over Pinellas.
Yes, the Ringling Museum has an excellent collection. My wife teaches there. The rose garden is legendary and the Banyon trees are beautiful. The mansion has nice tours. But I still think the best is the circus museum. That have one of the best dioramas ever created there. It’s the complete grounds of a travelling circus. So cool. Also the botanical gardens are real close to the Ringling properties.
I have some bad news for you...
Owen’s Fish Camp is the single best seafood dive in all of Sarasota, Manatee, and Pinellas Counties. They don’t take reservations, but do not miss this fresh seafood opportunity.
Thank you. I’ve been many times, although I haven’t been to Ringling museum in about 20 years. Might just be time to revisit.
I hear you! I have left the door open to return to work, if all goes to pot.
