Just heard from one niece in Lake Wales/Fort Meade area. Her house is 3 feet off the ground, but the water level is just a few inches from her doorway now. The driveway is completely under water, past the knees of her husband who went out to survey. So probably about 2 feet high out in the driveway. She said it’s growing higher by the hour. No power but does have cell/internet service.
My power was restored around 12:30 today. As of right now, there is still approximately 24k without power.
