Russia is about to take the gloves off. What happens to what’s left of Ukraine won’t be pretty.
——-
Good. The sooner the better, the Ukie government is more corrupted than Senile Joe and his gang…birds of the same feather hang together.

Carving up Ukraine back to its historical territories is only logical, Hungary, Poland, Romania get their territories back, Russia has theirs now…( they still need to take Odessa)…

Ukraine 1991 -2023 RIP, it was good until the US got involved back in 2014. Watch, Biden’s betrayal is forthcoming.

LOL. Takes the gloves off by sending his 50 year old men who aren’t trained or equipped to fight? Yes Russia is doing what it does, it will send men to die until the other side gets tired of killing them.

They will be smarter still and never cross the border

Hah - that could be the strategy. Force Ukraine to redeploy troops from the South, up North ...

I doubt that Belarus has even half that number of troops available to fight in the Ukraine or anywhere else.

“Belarus only has about 60k in their military. Where are they getting the other 60k?”

Just what I was wondering. I think Lukashenko is going to get an offer he can’t refuse, and he’ll be gone.

Russia is about to take the gloves off.

Why would Putin need to do that? Is everything not going according to Putin's Cunning Plan™? I thought the Russians had enough regular forces to crush Ukraine several times over, and now Putin has to both call up 300,000 reserves, and cajole his White Russian satrap into chipping in 120,000 Belarussians?

So, you recognize, although you will not admit, that Putin miscalculate on a massive scale. Is it safe for you to do that? With the FSB I mean? I don't think Putin is in the mood to tolerate lèse-majesté on any scale right now, and ripped out fingernails don't always grow back you know.

Perhaps you should sprinkle your posts with some suck up phrases.

Putin, father of the country, and of several students in Swiss private schools.
Putin, he hasn't killed nearly as many of us as Stalin.
Can you imagine Boris Yeltsin riding horseback with no shirt?

That’s awesome. We can destroy his entire army plus the civies he forces into it at the last minute.

The russian (soviet) doctrine to war is not a winning strategy. I will say they do know how to better occupy it once it’s taken, but they don’t have good warfare doctrine. Or reliable precision weapons.

Then the Russians annex Belarus.

The globalists want Russia taken out. China, not so much because they want the globalism to be just like China. No cars or houses or ownership for “the workers”.

I’m pretty sure general milley and Biden will get our ass kicked by Russia just like they did with the Taliban. China runs our government, we need to fix our border and our government before we mess around with Ukraine. Who cares what happens to Ukraine? I’m an American and care about America. Russia would be doing us a favor if they got rid of zelensky. Don’t believe everything you see on tv or the internet.

>>NATO will not put forces in Ukraine...or Belarus...as there are nukes on the table.<<

>>Take it to the bank.<<

Well, depends. Many here on FR believe Russia is responsible for taking out the Nord pipeline. In territorial waters of a NATO country...Denmark.

Would that not be an act of war on a NATO member country?

Only an idiot would believe that.

Belarus could, like Russia, mobilize its reservists and get to those numbers. But it seems the people are not going to be happy about it at all.

Well outside the 12-mile limit, but in the economic zone of Denmark-Bornholm. It remains to be seen whether such acts violate Danish rights.

Belarus isn’t going to mobilize 200k troops to Ukraine.

They could barely get troops to go to the border.

I’d like to see them both lose. Neither are good. A long protracted war is best (but without our money).

This situation is unresolved. Russia DOES have a motive, apparently, which is a contractual liability for non-delivery. Russia voluntarily stopped deliveries weeks earlier. Blowing up the pipelines would have reduced its ongoing liabilities if it can be made to appear that this damage was an act of a third party. The pipelines were by this time a wasting asset as Germany is well on its way to a total change in energy infrastructure, precisely in order to deny Russia its “leverage” - exactly as Trump told the Germans to do btw.

Not saying that the Russians did it, but that they certainly are in the lineup of suspects.

This is like an Agatha Christie mystery - “Murder on the Orient Express” for instance. Hercule Poirot is faced with a roomful of people with both the motive and the opportunity to do the deed.

I think Russia is looking for any opportunity to annex Belarus, Putin is no fan of Lukashenko, despite public appearances.

A few months info the offensive, Russia was engaged in a hugh buildup of men, equipment, and ammo. Belarus joining the fight with 100K soldiers might be cover for that fighting capacity they have stockpiled.

Belarus is one of America’s most hostile intelligence threats. Should the Ukraine attack Belarus’ directly, this tiny strategic Nation could, if they field 100K troops exhaust the Ukraine’s existing manpower.
