ritish defence intelligence has issued a rare ‘threat alert’ warning after former RAF pilots are being drafted in to train up Chinese troops.
Up to 30 pilots have secured annual salaries of £250,000 to teach Western flying procedures, the BBC reports.
There is nothing the Armed Forces can do to prevent this due to a legal loophole which allows third-party head hunters to recruit the former pilots.
Other top Royal Air Force pilots have been approached by people acting on behalf of the People’s Liberation Army, but so far they have declined the offers.
Fast-jet pilots from Australia and Canada have also been lured to China on huge contracts.

The British used to have a jet named the Hunter. Time to get a team of that same name and mission ASAP and put them to work.
Maybe the RAF pilots can teach the students to do the wrong thing in various situations. That way, real RAF pilots, will be aware of what the Chinese pilots will do, so they can shoot them down. 😀😁
Was that the Hawker Hunter? I believe one of these were used by Rhodesian security forces in the late 70s to bomb a communist training camp in southern Zambia.

Expertise will always flow to the countries that value it, support it, and will pay for it.
For example the large number of European refugee scientists and engineers that came to the US during the 30s and 40s and who were participants in the Manhattan project and missile development.
When I was at a USAF pilot training base in the 70s, before the Iranian revolution, we had Iranian Air Force students, going to pilot training. They were such terrible plots, that the USAF instructor pilots, had a standing joke. They would tell the Iranian pilots, that if they had an emergency, just bank left. That way, when it came time to fight them, they would know what the Iranians were going to do. 🤪🤗😆😃👍
Which is also why the vaunted Biden chip boycott is doomed to failure. For a couple billion dollars, China can easily bribe all the top chip engineers it wants. They are even cheaper than US Senators. /s

Declare fighter jet flight instruction to anyone other than a member of British or Allied personnel to be prohibited and treated as espionage. Prosecute offenders and give them hefty sentences/fines. It’s so simple, you would think someone deoesn’t want the problem to be solved.

One man’s bribe is another’s recruiting bonus.
Chips are one thing - its another case when it comes to making the lithographic equipment to make the chips in the first place.
all they have to do to stop them from training the chinese is to threaten them with losing their british or canadian citizenship.
just as the USA has done with americans in china working in their chip industry.
