Here are the three things I think Mr. Fetterman is doing wrong by running for the Senate now when he is still recovering from his stroke:
First, he is showing employers everywhere that you can push employees to come back to work before they are ready. He is showing that the Americans with Disabilities Act shouldn’t, maybe can’t, be used by stroke survivors during the end of their recovery period.
Second, he is telling stroke survivors, and people with any injuries, to suck it up, walk it off, keep trucking. He is saying: put your career before your wellbeing.
Yes, it seems like Mr. Fetterman can be a success story. He can become a senator despite his stroke. He can champion making it to the senate despite his brain injury. If he can do it, so can you. Unfortunately, most people with brain injuries don't have the campaign money, family money or government health insurance that he has at his disposal.
Third, he is not being a strong and courageous model for other stroke survivors. A strong and courageous person tells his backers, friends and family that now is not the right time for me to run for office. He says that his brain needs more time to rest and heal and someone else should run in his place.
He doesn’t forge forward and ride the coattails of his party, limit public engagements in order to hide his disabilities. He doesn’t tell party leaders, constituents and ordinary Pennsylvanians that he is fine, when he is not. The courageous thing to do is to wait until he has recovered to run for a national office.

No, his brain has been defective since he was born. No amount of resting or healing will fix that defective brain. He was a leech off mommy and daddy until his 40s. He believes being mayor of a podunk 1,200 person village makes him qualified to be a US Senator. He thinks dressing and tatting like a hoodlum makes him qualified. He coddles criminals. He believes in communism.
That is serious evidence of a terminally-defective brain that no amount of rest or healing will fix.

Party leadership should be stepping in and telling him “We’ll sit this one out, John, and take another run after we get you better prepared.” Nope. Just push ahead with an obviously unfit candidate for one of the highest offices in the land. Soulless, dangerous ghouls.

I am a 10 year hemorrhagic stroke. A MASSIVE HEMORRHAGIC STROKE. I’m in pretty good shape today, considering. The average person probably might not pick up on it, although a medical professional might be able to.
Fetterman should be disqualified. Biden, another aneurysm/stroke survivor shouldn’t be in the White House.
Fetterman has brain damage and cannot talk on his own. People don’t want to talk about that or they want to talk other issues but this is number one issue. He is unfit to serve and refused to concede this. He didn’t have the respect for the people to withdraw from the race, so Dr. Oz and the people of Pennsylvania must do it for him and send him away.

This is odd coming from the Pittsburgh post gazette, a liberal rag if there ever was one. There’s an occasional article that isn’t carrying water for the Democrats, but they are few and far between.
On another note, ironically, the Pittsburgh post gazette is in a labor dispute with their employees.
