Doesn't he? DeSantis was very much aligned with Paul Ryan when he was in the House, particularly on Social Security and Medicare reform. Not really Trump's thing. I'm sure there are others.
Paul Ryan, the Bushes, Karl Rove etc are funding DeSantis in exorbitant amounts to run in 2024 against Trump. They are inflating his ego to the tune of $200 million.
Where was Ron DeSantis when Mar A Lago was raided? He’s the Governor. Did he know ahead of time and disappear at the right moment? He never tried to protest or stick up for Trump. Why not? Trump endorsed and helped DeSantis become Governor. Ron has done a good job imitating Trump but he is bought and therefore they can control him, unlike President Trump.
DeSantis was no friend of Paul RINO. DeSantis was in fact a member of the Freedom Caucus in the House.
