I do wish Donald Trump would learn when to be wisely silent.
Trump violated Reagan commandment “Never denigrate another Republican”.
Ditto. These are *exactly* the type of unforced errors he really shouldn't be making. DeSantis has already said repeatedly he's not running for President in 2024. Trump needs DeSantis as an ally and a friendly one at that. This kind of shit from Trump is completely unnecessary.
If Trump faces meaningful resistance in the Republican primaries it's going to be because of crap like this and it'll come back to bite him in the ass.
I say that as a big Trump 2024 guy.
I think he’ll get lots of feedback on this....he probably won’t like....nor would he admit to making a mistake.
Politics seem just a game to Trump and it seems that he likes to make enemies among politicians. He will always succeed in making lots of unintended enemies. What a waste of talent. He should learn to practice magnanimity and he could become an even more effective POTUS than he was.

Trump needs to take a hint from Ronaldus Magnus’s Golden Rule - Never speak ill of another Republican. Of course, Ronaldus had the luxury of driving all of the Country Club Republicans out of power before he was elected in 1980. Unfortunately, we still have a lot of RINOs in office who need to see the light or be shown the door.
