Rush also criticized Trump for not focusing on issues, as opposed to petty personal feuds and playground name-calling. I heard Rush say it with my own ears. If Trump disagrees with anything Desantis has done on the issues, let’s hear it. I would be shocked if he does.
I don’t have any problem with name calling if it conveys a truth - like “lyin Ted”. But calling Desantis sanctimonious is false - and it’s using a leftist rhetoric jibe
“But calling Desantis sanctimonious is false”
Really? And you know this for a fact? How? President Trump does not make such statements randomly. He’s a calculating man. It is very likely he is sending a covert message to Desantis that he has specific knowledge about something that Desantis would not want to come to public knowledge.
A shot across the bow is an apt analogy.
I bet you Desanctimonius is bang on the Money. Desanctimonius isn’t going to be at the rally and I bet his reasoning was, “I’ve got to be the Govenor for everyone”. I’m sure he gave a reason for the O’Dea that gave that feel as well. I would also be ok with Dephony.
Repeat: DeSantis nearly lost in a red state to a jive hoodoo; meanwhile Youngkin flipped a blue state by 2 points, curb-stomping The Former Freaking VA Governor himself Fast Terry, AND Youngkin had COATTAILS.
Youngkin has his sh!t completely together from Day One -- note that the completely based idea to flood-the-election-zone with GOP pollwatchers came from VA Trumpsters, and Youngkin embraced the idea from Day One.
EVERYWHERE
"Last year [ed. note: 2020], Lynchburg (VA) didn’t have any poll watchers during its early voting period, according to Gibbons. Then President Joe Biden flipped Lynchburg, a longtime Republican stronghold, beating out Donald Trump.
This year, the city has had a poll watcher in their office every day since early voting began on Sept. 17. Most of them have been Republican, Gibbons says, and many have had “preconceived ideas about the voting process.” One GOP poll watcher, who was later removed, accused her staff of stealing the election from Trump, she recalls. “Our office has been on edge.”
I know who I would back for Trump's VP in 2024, and it ain't sand-in-his-pants DeSanctimonious.
