If DeSantis runs, he has two issues on which to run - Covid, and age. Age is probably the safest because it's not really a personal criticism. It's just "you're going to be 82 by the last year of your term, and I think we need someone younger."

If Trump wants to get nasty, that's his choice, but DeSantis just has to run on his record, his views, and his age.
