Let the games begin. If you know of a conservative that hasn't voted yet, drag him to the polling station!

Early voted in Union County NJ this past Saturday (the same day I came back from a vacation in Tennessee). I have to begrudgingly give the devil their due. The process was pretty smooth. They made sure my signatures matched and the machine generated a paper "receipt" which did record my vote accurately. Of course, this doesn't mean that my vote will be counted accurately, but I felt better about doing it in person as opposed to requesting and using a mail-in ballot. But, then again, this is NJ so nothing would surprise me.

Can't wait to move to Tennessee full-time in 2023.

1. I have been registered as Republican in Los Angeles County for 35 years.
2. I recieved notification from county in Sept 2022 that I was no longer registered to vote.
3. I immediately re-registered on the LA County voter web site: LAVOTE.COM
4. I verified that I was now registered via the same web site.
5. I recieved a post card from the County verifying my registration as Republican and will be eligible to vote after Oct 22, 2022
6. I recieved mail-in ballot on Oct 26, 2022.
7. Went to vote on Sunday, Nov 6, 2022.
8. The polling place had no record of my registration. I showed them my mail-in ballots and post card proving my registration but to no avail.
9. I left my mail-in ballots with them but they said if I was not registered it would not count.
10. I went back to LAVOTE.COM to verify my voter registration. It showed I was not registered.
11. In summary, my registration as a Republican was cancelled twice in 2 months just before the Nov 8 election.
12. That is why Democrats control California.

What does one do without law enforcement integrity?

The first rule is to clean up law enforcement and prosecutors to insure that they will faithfully follow the law.

I know your story is one of perhaps millions.

It is such a shame to see the republic become rotted.

That’s pathetic. And no way to fight the bureaucracy. How much of this crap is going on?

In fairness to Maricopa County, they have only had 730 days to get their act together! They were sooo close!

Essex County is where the nasty deeds are done—it was blatant in the governor’s race in 2021.

I voted around 11 this morning in North Central Connecticut. It was steady maybe one or two people in front of you and one or two people behind. Was in and out in about 5 to 7 minutes.

I spoke with a couple of the Republicans outside greeting voters from the local races or volunteers from more of the statewide races. Some of them had been there since polls open in the morning and not a single Democrat candidate or volunteer for them, even a local race, had appeared to greet voters all day.

Just voted in Texas.

I really like our new voting system. They gave me a piece of ballot paper. I insert it into the voting machine, make my choices, and the machine prints and spits out all my votes onto the ballot.
I verify the printed choices is correct, then go to the scanning machine, insert it against into the scanning machine which then scans and records the vote, the actual ballot is also stored inside the machine for later auditing if necessary.
No scanning errors because the ballots are printed by machines, no doubts about what votes the machines recorded, and a physical ballot that can later be audited.

I like that! Should be universal but RATs would vote against it.
That’s the first thing Kari Lake & others should do when take office, reform the voting systems to prevent widespread fraud.

That seems like a really efficient compromise. You have the benefit of not having to hand count every ballot, but you have a system in place with a machine counted ballots can be audited/verified if necessary

I am most certainly not going to moderate an election thread. Though it might be cool to have the Zot button for a moment. 8~)

I did say posting an election thread at 0700, it will have 3000+ posts by 1900.

There is no way to estimate that at this point, I think Bannon is just enthusiastically making things up.

In fact I’m willing to bet that turnout in NY will not come close to presidential election levels.

Just got back from voting at 10:30 am in SE Illinois. Polling place was the busiest I have EVER seen in the 20 years I’ve lived here.

Rural farm community of ~6500 people that generally vote Republican 65%-35%. Was 2/3rds geezers like myself.

Could make the Pissger-Bailey race interesting.

That is why Democrats control California.

That and numerous other corrupt tricks that are largely hidden from public view. I lived in the Torrance area for 40 years before moving to Charlotte, NC in 2015.

The California legislature has been in Dem control since 1970 except for one year between 1995 to 1996 when Reps had control of the Assembly. During those 52 years, the Dems have solidified their stranglehold on CA government through all kinds of corruption.

Oh, and that one year when the Reps controlled the Assembly? They squandered the opportunity through continued squabbles between conservatives and moderates (meaning between real Reps and RINOs.)
