Ohio District 1
86.30% Est. Vote Counted
*Incumbent
Candidate Total Votes % Votes
Greg Landsman (D) 146,671 51.9%
Steve Chabot (R) * 135,951 48.1%

Man I would hate losing Chabot to Landsman, he’s a libs lib and Chabot was a good Pubbie for many many years.

“Decision Desk HQ projects Greg Landsman (D) wins election to the U.S. House in Ohio’s 1st Congressional District.”

This was the district that GOP redistricters “sacrificed” (it still should have been held) in order to strengthen their chances in places like OH-13 and OH-9 — both of which they ALSO lost tonight.

The big mystery in Ohio is — given all that, how did J.D. Vance manage to win statewide? And are we sure he’s actually won?

I certainly wasn’t expecting to see Ohio (R) seats flip to the democrats.

How in the world can be be so ignorant after living through what our nation has over the past two years? Do these people not buy food and gas? Do they not have family in the gas and oil business, or even in the military? Is everyone just ready to vote for whoever can “give” them the most money?

I guest the answer is yes.

Or, it might be as I thought as I listened to the democrats and media over the past week. Polls may show that people are dissatisfied and the GOP would win close races, but the democrats will create enough chaos in the end, to keep the Senate and possibly the House, once all the “votes” are counted.
