Republican Representative James Comer, the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, said during a press conference that the probe looked at Hunter Biden's business dealings and Joe Biden's alleged involvement in them. At one point, he alleged that one Suspicious Activity Report (SAR), a type of document that banks have to file with the Treasury Department, "connects Hunter Biden and his business associates to international human trafficking, among other illegal activities."
"The SAR shows that Hunter Biden was conducting business with suspected human traffickers," Comer said. "The money gained through influence peddling was funneled to a suspected criminal enterprise, again, one linked to human trafficking."

Glad to see probes in the future but this is a bit of political posturing and measuring curtains early. Republicans don’t take control until January. I don’t think they have any authority yet. And I’d rather see real investigations instead of shrill political witch hunts that seem to be rushed out right now where folks want a few seconds of headlines by announcing an investigation.
It’s always nice to let the ‘Normies’ know how the govt was sticking it to them. IMHO

This will be “Trump probes” in reverse. They’ll be a lot of theater and in the end nothing will come of it. Further dividing us as a nation. Leftists will state that it’s racist to do this and republicans will state “take that”! It’s all theater….all of it whilst they take us over.

Agreed. And counter productive. Americans want fixes, not more mud slinging. While I agree that Hunter is involved in horrid things, including compromising the POTUS, I don’t think this will play well with the masses.
Looks like the Biden’s better buy some soap on a rope for their new home.

This is all well in good but will the media censor and throttle the stories on it?
I expect absolutely nothing of consequence to come out of these hearings but I will enjoy watching human s’bags squirm a bit.
What is the venue to be chosen for all this to be tried? Anything in the close proximity to DC is immediately suspect, and the Biden Crime Family has few connections outside that rather circumscribed tight little geographic region.
They should focus on the FBI first, its a more important issue.

if we look at the “big picture”.. and assess that the fix is in. The Uniparty has decided the Biden is no longer convenient and must go. (as the press is now even talking about Hunter, or Joe’s cognitive issues. I think that the decision oust has been made and the press now has to soften up the public to the idea that Joe MUST go).
1. get Kamala out.
2. install electable Dem as VP (newsome) aned incumbent Prez.
3. tell joe, you’re out. Resign for medical reasons and No prosecution of you or hunter. OR, Hunter goes to trial and takes you down with him.
Only if the panel is in ‘Flyover Country’. Nothing will come out of a DC jury on a Democrat.
