We are in the midst of a constitutional crises.
Biden set aside the constitution.
We are in the midst of a constitutional crises.
Biden set aside the constitution.
Trump wants it restored.
He’s not spinning.
It’s clear that Trump said you can suspend the Constitution.
We’re no longer a republic.
The Constitution is no longer in force.
The law is whatever Deep State thinks it can get away with.
He’s not “suggesting” tge end of the constitution. He’s pointing out that it’s been suspended.
Wondering if he and his supporters should also suspend it, in the spirit of the founders, who would not want termination of elections, or is it just uniparty who can suspend it, in the spirit of wanting to abolish it
And it’s statements like this that turn people off to supporting trump again. The “stable genius” sure seems to miss the “stable” part sometimes when he comments.
“Hi, I’m campaigning on behalf of my Senate candidate XXX, a Republican. Can we count on your support??” “NO...your party is out of touch with many people’s views and your leader is seems to be a bit unstable”.
That is type of comment we can expect to get over the next year as we try to get support for our Republican candidates.
Has no one been truly listening for the last several years? the constitution has already been violated and is moot. Ready to be moved to the Smithsonian for the uneducated descendants of the lackadaisical generation that blindly refused to stand up against evil to ponder or squint at the unintelligible script written on the yellowed paper.
In fact, private citizen Trump is not obligated to be transparent about any issue. So let the deal-maker do his best work.
Getting back to 'termination" of Constitution, considering that retired General George Washington probably dozed off during some of the debates at Constitutional Convention, please consider the following.
Since “blind leading the blind” Congress has been overstepping its constitutionally limited powers from the time of misguided President Washington, the people have NEVER fully enjoyed a constitutionally limited power federal government as the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had envisioned it imo.
So Trump's alleged "termination" of a constitutionally limited power federal government that the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had arguably failed to get off the ground in the first place imo is interesting.
The bottom line is that the states have never had their acts together with resect to using their 10th Amendment-protected power to make sure that generations of naturalized immigrant voters, former commoners and peasants, have understood the federal government's constitutionally limited powers before casting their votes.
As a consequence of misguided voters up to their eyeballs in rumors, hearsay and gossip about the Constitution, voters have been tricked into transforming the Oval Office into a centralized government power throne room.
“Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature.” - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)
"He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States." - The Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 3In April 2020, President Trump threatened to use Article II to dismiss Congress over blocking him from recess appointments. President Trump knew he had that power -- the exact same power he would have used to remand the presented elector's slates in 2020 back to each state's legislature.
I'd say he's just stirring the shit on a Sunday. LOL.
Trump vs. 12631
I read that, and I positively get what he said, and it WASN’T to overthrow the Constitution. He’s saying it’s what the LEFT wants to do. Read it again, this time WITH the punctuation.

(Let me know if you want on or off the Wordle Daily Ping list.)
After reading what President Trump said, it seems apparent (to me) that he stated that a fraud of this magnitude can allow for the termination of up to and including the U.S. Constitution, not that he would do that or that he supports that.
But there is no mechanism to throw out the 2020 election or hold a new election for 2020. It’s not possible to do.
President Trump continuing to bring that up demonstrates an ignorance of the US Constitution.
I understand your point about rules, regulations, admendments that have been distorted or ignored. You should have spelled them out with historical references by the FF in their debates. Throwing out generalities is not doing you nor us any favors.
Is this much different than Lincoln declaring that the Constituion isn’t a suicide pact?
Sounds to me as if he is saying massive fraud violates all the rules, regulations and the Constitution. Not that HE wants to violate rules, regulations and the Constitution.
Trump recognizes we are on the midst of a Constitutional crises.
The Constitution was set aside to get Biden elected. Fully half of the population had their 1st amendment rights removed by the government.
Only a democrat would label an election as being unconstitutional.
I'm TIRING of this same old BULLSHIT!
Trump, in his admittedly imperfect and incomplete manner, is probably referring to the legal principle of Void ab initio, which in Latin means having no legal effect from the inception and beginning of a fraud.
A law, agreement, sale, or other action that is void has no legal effect. A void action cannot be ratified or validated. An action that is void ab initio never had any legal effect.
Obviously, this concept is open to debate inasmuch as it being sufficient to overthrow a fraudulent presidential election, but the utterly corrupt media will run as far as they can by inverting reality and portraying Trump, rather then the Biden Administration and the left as being hostile to the constitution itself.
