Trump Suggests ‘Termination’ of U.S. Constitution Allowable over 2020 Twitter Scandal [UPDATE: The author is spinning. Trump's actual words are now posted below.]

Former President Donald Trump suggested the “termination” of the United States Constitution could be allowable in response to the bombshell report that the Democrat Party colluded with Twitter to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election.

The former president made his observation via his Truth Social account on Saturday following journalist Matt Taibbi’s thorough report on Twitter’s internal communications during the 2020 elections at the behest of newly-minted CEO Elon Musk.

The author of the Breitbart article above is spinning (lying). Here's what Trump actually posted.

“We are living now as Americans were under the rule of King George (the tyranny today from this government is actually far worse than under the British, but that’s of no matter on this point”

That same idea has occurred to me as well.

It will be much harder to rid ourselves of this tyranny. But I see Musk’s conquest of Twitter as a first blow.

Likewise, and thank you. :) Reasoned discussion is becoming rarer and rarer.

I am not sanguine about the chances of success, but if there is to be any opportunity of making a correction without massive destruction, then all those now fighting the tyranny that has descended will need to pull together as one against the massive power of the government oligarchy - Musk, Trump, DeSantis (we hope he is fighting and not eyeing some kind of internal accommodation), and on down the line through the many, seeking office or not, who have identified the beyond-Constitutional ruling junta that has installed itself and indeed entirely co-opted the federal government to its own purposes.

Good points...IMO, the onus is now upon the states to use their constitutional powers to lead the effort required to scour the rot from the election process.

I am still waiting for Trump to expand and provide specifics with respect to his Dec 3 comments.

If a state has not been already been co-opted (corrupted) then that is possible…as was most notably done in Florida.

However, if a state has already established Democrat or government class Republican (Georgia) hegemony in statewide offices, then that state is lost, in all likelihood permanently. Such a state becomes like California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, Colorado, New Mexico, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine… and now New Hampshire, Arizona and Pennsylvania. Places that can no longer be competitive electorally.

Once a state is gone, extraordinary circumstances must occur for it to be corrected. That is not impossible - there is some limited hope for Virginia and Georgia - but it is extremely unlikely as is witnessed in the hardening of Leftist power in the wast. Once these states go, they are nearly always gone forever.

The midterms this year showed very plainly that enough states are permanently co-opted that no one outside the government oligarchy - indeed no one not a Democrat - can ever again win a national election.

You may be right. The controversial sentence (the only sentence many people seem to care about) is ambiguous.

Obama would be given the benefit of the doubt.

Democrats have ignored the tenth Amendment for decades. Ho Hum. Who cares about the Constitution?

I don’t think conservatives should get excited over this. There is not enough evidence to think that Trump is calling for suspension of the tenth Amendment or any other aspect of the Constitution.

Remember when Biden praised Democrats for taking voter fraud to a new level? Any liberal who was pressed on the subject simply said that he did not mean it. If that was good enough for Biden, it’s good enough for Trump.

That’s not the way God works though is it?

ask saul of tarsus or Nebuchadnezzar or the 186 thousand Assyrians God supernaturally slaughtered in one night... or the chariot masters of Egypt who were drowned in the red sea while pursuing Israel... yes it is now HE works when it is critical... mene mene tekel upharson... the handwriting is on the wall.

But then again, I am a stupid bible thumper “water into wine” type of believer. Lazarus was called OUT of that grave... yes I believe that happened...

I believe we are at that state... and that we are seeing it play out in the judgements we are enduring. the LORD whom you seek will suddenly visit his temple... but who will survive the day of his coming... for he is like a fire that burns up the chaff... and he comes unexpectedly bring about change. our constitution was a result of his coming... not the cause of our freedom.

If the state/local government level is not fixable, there is little hope. This would be a reflection of the deterioration of the body politic to a point undeserving of freedom.

I don't disagree about God's miracles. I am also a believer.

I'm not saying that God won't perform a miracle, but he might expect us to go into battle just as he did with Joshua.

it will take both... the stone and the slingshot... and gideon’s 300.

he will give individuals instructions however. Sampson delivered Israel... AFTER being made blind, deathlevel abuse, and imprisonment. Miracle yes. Pricetag... for sampson at least... death.

Joseph went to prison.
Paul went to prison and death
Peter went to jail... kinda his thing... and he went to the cross as well.

its not a “lets get an army” task...
its more of a “lets get 300 assassins together Gideon”...

never the same way twice.
we need to worship the One who gave us the constitution... not the ones who wrote it, or the thing itself.

The problem is , if these are legit quotes, that Trump is often so verbally clumsy and inept what he says can be subject to several interpretations which give his enemies opportunities to make look like a fool or a tyrant. He just shoots his mouth off to often.

When the woke dems decide they are tired putting up with having opponents exist they will invent a ‘national emergency’ and the President will declare some sort of ‘General National Emergency’ and things such as the Bill of Rights will be suspended and that will be it.

Yes, Trump is a loose cannon.

His tweeting during presidency must’ve driven spokesmen nuts.

Sorry, people, but it’s best to have a filter, and not be tweeting and speaking off the cuff constantly when you are leader of the world, let’s be honest. Better to remain silent and thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

You are right - the appearance isn’t so good. English is poor so that it can be twisted either way.

I don’t think Trump meant what libs think, but the phrasing is not good and can certainly be miscontrued that way - as many conservatives have themselves.

Trump, in his admittedly imperfect and incomplete manner, is probably referring to the legal principle of Void ab initio, which in Latin means having no legal effect from the inception and beginning of a fraud.

A law, agreement, sale, or other action that is void has no legal effect. A void action cannot be ratified or validated. An action that is void ab initio never had any legal effect.

Obviously, this concept is open to debate inasmuch as it being sufficient to overthrow a fraudulent presidential election, but the utterly corrupt media will run as far as they can by inverting reality and portraying Trump, rather then the Biden Administration and the left as being hostile to the constitution itself.

What we are witnessing is documentation that the 2020 election was rife with fraud, and still they do nothing about it. It’s like, Oh well, 10 million Biden voters would have switched their vote from Biden and Trump would have won if this story got full airing, Oh well, it’s just election fraud, move on.
