Former President Donald Trump suggested the “termination” of the United States Constitution could be allowable in response to the bombshell report that the Democrat Party colluded with Twitter to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election.

The former president made his observation via his Truth Social account on Saturday following journalist Matt Taibbi’s thorough report on Twitter’s internal communications during the 2020 elections at the behest of newly-minted CEO Elon Musk.

The author of the Breitbart article above is spinning (lying). Here's what Trump actually posted.

Regarding Trump's "termination" of Constitution please consider this. Given that Trump is a master deal-maker, he is also necessarily a master bluffer imo.

In fact, private citizen Trump is not obligated to be transparent about any issue. So let the deal-maker do his best work.

Getting back to 'termination" of Constitution, considering that retired General George Washington probably dozed off during some of the debates at Constitutional Convention, please consider the following.

Since “blind leading the blind” Congress has been overstepping its constitutionally limited powers from the time of misguided President Washington, the people have NEVER fully enjoyed a constitutionally limited power federal government as the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had envisioned it imo.

So Trump's alleged "termination" of a constitutionally limited power federal government that the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had arguably failed to get off the ground in the first place imo is interesting.

The bottom line is that the states have never had their acts together with resect to using their 10th Amendment-protected power to make sure that generations of naturalized immigrant voters, former commoners and peasants, have understood the federal government's constitutionally limited powers before casting their votes.

As a consequence of misguided voters up to their eyeballs in rumors, hearsay and gossip about the Constitution, voters have been tricked into transforming the Oval Office into a centralized government power throne room.

“Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature.” - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)

Trump knew he had the Article II power to dismiss Congress on Jan 6. He had been advised of his Article II power from Day One, by everyone from Bannon to Kushner:
"He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States." - The Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 3
In April 2020, President Trump threatened to use Article II to dismiss Congress over blocking him from recess appointments. President Trump knew he had that power -- the exact same power he would have used to remand the presented elector's slates in 2020 back to each state's legislature.

I'd say he's just stirring the shit on a Sunday. LOL.

The only way to read it is that massive election fraud justifies jettisoning how the Constitution in regards to elections.

Massively stupid thing to even suggest. Trump has lost it.

But he didn’t. There is still time for him to do so but I fear his ego really thinks he should be above the Constitution.

But that is not the only take that can be gleaned from what he wrote. He needs to clarify just what he meant.

"For your consideration: in order to effect a de-Nazification of Germany after WWII, neighborhood committees of trusted German anti-Nazis met to refer known Nazis to the Allies for trial by military tribunal. Penalties handed out were imprisonment, permanent barring from future public office, and death."

LOL! If only. The truth is, Ike transferred thousands and thousands of Nazis from internment and home arrest into the new Konrad Adenauer West German government - Adenauer a man who had violated Prussian laws to advance NDSP goals before WWII - and after being shut out of Nazi patronage after January 1933, begged no less than Göring to restore his mayor's pension ('I vas first to let the NDSP into Rhenish Prussia')!

The party he single-handedly formed out of leftover Nazis is the same party that schMerkel and Olaf represent today -- the CDU.

Yes it is. Read it again. He is not the one who conducted the steal, and he illustrates just what those who did conduct the steal have done in its wake, concluding that the Founding Fathers would oppose everything those people have done—how can you mention the Founding Fathers, the framers of the Constitution, with any notion that they would approve of the termination of the document they fought to establish? You cannot, quite simply.

Bad enough he put the name “Christian” on it. Not to mention, given what we know about democracy and how the left equates it with socialism, the phrase “Christian democratic” is oxymoronic.

That seems to make clear Trump supports suspending the Constitution at least in regards to elections in order to declare a new election.

That is unacceptable.

I will never abide that. He had a great agenda and that should be carried forward by somebody else. I am done with Trump unless he very clearly states he fully defends the Constitution. And not by killing it to save it.

Regards extensive experience:

Everybody who has lived long enough has them, however, they are not "the same experience".

Since 1983, I have seen roughly 12-18 people daily, six days a week. In 2009, I cut it down to 5 days a week, and last few years, 4 days a week.

I have full interaction with each one, verbal, listening to their issues, then hopefully designing a course to solve the issue.

The age has ranged from teens to 93.

There are always exceptions, but the 60-80 are usually the most stable in thought and deed, having "experienced" life.

True, there are those above 80 that have a hard time operating a spoon, however, there are also those who would constantly win a game of chess, and can run circles around younger ones mentally, and some even physically.

There are similar greats and not so greats all the way down to teenager.

Bundling Trump in with Biden is flat out incorrect, on the face of it, and all the way through and through. No, he is a few standard deviations out, and thank the Lord for that.

Is he perfect? Simply, No.

Is there one out there? I don't know, maybe, hopefully, but hope alone is not enough, looking around at what has become of this beautiful country.

Right now, the passive, or even passive aggressive, and docile responses are just insufficient, as the left openly DARES you and I, and the right as a group, to even question them or make moves or policy stifling them, while they enjoy no pushback and a cooperative media and the courts, not to mention members from both sides, in dismantling this country into a third world sodom.

Trump is just a man.

He is however willing. Willing to use his real name, his real fortune, his real honor, in giving it back to the left, in multiple fronts, while we sit back and cheer, or in some cases, discredit, his moves.

An average 80 year old would have committed suicide or died of heart attack 5 years ago from the pressure laid on him. That is and was their goal the whole time, they failed. He is not your average 80 year old. MY experience over 40 years makes me qualified to make that assertion. Moreover, his very actions since 2016 (or even 20-30 years prior if you care to look) display the differences.

Dismiss him if you wish, but be advised, it is in your mind, for whatever reason or animus you hold, and not reality.

“Did 2020 unhinge him?”

Seems 2020 may just have done that. It is alarming how many are scrambling to undo the implications of what Trump wrote. Yet Trump just doubles down on those very implication.
