A Qatari photographer has died while covering the World Cup — the second journalist to lose his life at the global event following influential US soccer writer Grant Wahl’s death.
Khalid al-Misslam, a photojournalist for local sports outlet Al Kass TV, died on Saturday, the Doha-based Gulf Times reported.
“Al-Misslam, a Qatari, died suddenly while covering the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. We believe in Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for him, and send our deepest condolences to his family,” the Gulf Times reported on Twitter.

Conflating cause of death under the dubious umbrella of Sudden Death

A new strain of Covid that only affects people who identify as journalists, since they were immune to the last strain.
The body can’t handle the jabs? Or, something else?
They say he died while covering the World Cup. I bet the audience was shocked. We can’t expect factual reporting any more. Every story covered by mainstream outlets is slanted or narratived. The report of the death is only that he died suddenly for the purpose of obituary. There will be speculation but no confirmation and additional details will be difficult to find. Ultimately the sudden death will be all that is left.
A lot of young men and women under 40 are dying suddenly without any known preexisting medical conditions. I’m not a COVID vaccine critic, but I’d like the medical experts to look into these sudden deaths for reasons it’s happening and whether the covid vaccine was done on these folks and if it did something to cause the deaths.
It was a milder form of sudden death.

The circumstances of al-Misslam’s death were unclear but the announcement was made on the same day that a security guard was seriously injured when he fell at Lusail Iconic Stadium, the Guardian reported.
The guard — who is reportedly a migrant worker — fell about 2 a.m. local time Saturday after the quarter-final game between Argentina and the Netherlands.
