As I understand it, all they are asking for is a return to the rules which were in affect for around two hundred years before Pelosi changed them to ensure she wouldn’t lose the gavel on a Motion to Vacate the Chair. McCarthy wants the same power/safety net. No one person in our government should ever have that much power and that much security in retaining their jobs.
He’ll get every DemRat’s vote and then some.
