I just watched Sean Hannity try to brow beat Lauren Boebert into voting for McCarthy then denigrate her with Trey Howdy afterwards. I pegged him for a sellout years ago but now he’s just a POS deep state tool.

It is beginning to become obvious that a BUNCH of congressmen AND women are homosexuals. THAT is why almost nothing which requires a proper value system gets done or passed. Actually, hardly anybody nowadays would care if any of them were homosexuals. McCarthy needs to be answer one question on the House floor tomorrow before the voting continues, did he know about McConnel’s deal with Schumer before it was voted on, and if so when.

Why does it matter?
McCarthy lost 9 Republican on a bill that passed 225-201-1. If the malcontents were loyal the vote is 216-210-1.

But with a significant bloc of conservatives, known as the House Freedom Caucus, throwing their support behind Florida Rep. Dan Webster, and with the last-minute candidacy of Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz, McCarthy withdrew rather than face a possibly fractious vote.
I’ve never joined in with the Sean Hannity ‘hate’ here; but tonight I’ve wondered if that’s just because I haven’t watched him enough.
He was horrible to Boebert. I applaud her for doing her best to keep talking and trying to get her points out, despite his constant interruptions. You either have someone on your show because you want to actually hear them, or you don’t.
I appreciate the people who have said that this is how our Republic works - it’s messy, and its design makes it that way. I have no problem with the messiness; but I do want to see things get done, too. I’m not up for two months of this (like the 1800s). Folks on the Hill have to get it together.

IMHO it does matter because if McCarthy did know, he should have go on talk shows, TV, wherever to attempt to blow up the McConnell's deal.
Since McCarthy was the minority leader at the time I don't understand how he could not know, and therefore he was either directly involved in undermining the incoming House by colluding with the Democrats and Senate Minority Leader McConnell, or he is utterly incompetent.
Either way this would mean McCarthy should not be allowed to become Speaker.
