So here we go again.
What we have seen so far is the arogance of our governing elites. They think every election can be managed and finessed to install the preferred candidate of the elites. Because 20 MAGA Republicans are objecting, Swamp Creature McCarthy has been denied the gavel of the Speakership.
Will they prevail, or is a dirty deal with the Dems in the works?

What a strange looking chaplain.
We live in a matriarchy now.
H.L. Mencken famously wrote that America is the only matriarchy in the world in which women were seeking equality.

A time wasting quorum call to start the day.
What an embarrassment they are!

Looks like McCarthy and his allies do not want another vote.
Something about a quorum issue.

Steve Bannon says, WHY NOT TRUMP? I think he is right. I think all Republicans should gather around him and put him in as Speaker of the House.. WHY NOT TRUMP?

If too few Republicans are there Hakeem Jeffries could win it. Gotta be very careful.

The RINOs don't want Trump. They also appear to be determined to ram McCarthy through regardless of the opposition. It's arrogant. Their focus is on one candidate, not seeking a consensus leader of the party. They are happy to waste time and do nothing while the Republic collapses.

Let the Demoncraps own the next 2-year disaster. What is McCarthy going to do? Not much.

One of my favorite Mencken quotes: “The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.”

With Republicans having the Speakership, we still control the legislation that is sent to the floor, we control the committee chairmanships, and we still have a say in the budget (next year, grrrr.)
McCarthy is still better than ANY DemocRAT.

I supported the idea of McCarthy, but I’ve moved away. At this point, if McCarthy wins, those who opposed him will be banished to the netherworld and not participate actively in any committee work. These 20 voices need to be our bulldog force to expose DC corruption, but without seats, they wont be heard.
McCarthy now needs to step down.

Someone else taglined a phrase that applies here.
If you think strong principled men are dangerous, just wait until you see what 400 weak men can do.......
Let's not let that mob rule the agenda for the congress.
