What we have seen so far is the arogance of our governing elites. They think every election can be managed and finessed to install the preferred candidate of the elites. Because 20 MAGA Republicans are objecting, Swamp Creature McCarthy has been denied the gavel of the Speakership.
Will they prevail, or is a dirty deal with the Dems in the works?

Taking back what I said yesterday about Bishop. He folded. And now Cloud has folded.
The holdouts gained 3 seats on the committee that issues the House bills onto the floor. That’s 1/3 of the vote out of 9 in total and will give them veto power. Very important positions. Holding out got them the seats. Otherwise, they would have had little to no way to get on said committee. This is just one of many victories for the holdouts within the GOP caucus. We/the voters were not in on the fight from an inside point of view, so the lack of that knowledge made all of us angry and crazy.
