On Monday CBS launched a story about classified papers found in a former office of president Biden. I am curious why the story came out and why it came out now.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has assigned the U.S. attorney in Chicago to review documents marked classified that were found at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington, two sources with knowledge of the inquiry told CBS News. The roughly 10 documents are from President Biden's vice-presidential office at the center, the sources said. CBS News has learned the FBI is also involved in the U.S. attorney's inquiry.
The material was identified by personal attorneys for Mr. Biden on Nov. 2, just before the midterm elections, Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president confirmed. The documents were discovered when Mr. Biden's personal attorneys "were packing files housed in a locked closet to prepare to vacate office space at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C.," Sauber said in a statement to CBS News.
The story was kept under the wraps for more than two month. Biden's lawyers, who allegedly found the documents, informed the National Archive which took possession them the next day. It then informed the Attorney General who assigned a U.S. attorney and involved the FBI."
That is at least how the story is told.
But I am curious on how much back and forth there was between Biden's lawyers and the White House after the find.

I’m sure slow Joe, if he even remembered having the documents didn’t think he’d done anything wrong and there would be no consequences anyway. It’s worked that way for over 50 years.
I don’t have a clue as to the why’s, but this has all the appearance of a setup. A setup by the deepstate to depose of dear leader, or a setup to set up the MAGA crowd.
Something does not appear right.
That’s the million-dollar question and why many believe he’s being set up for a fall.
You’re right. When I heard a report today that the Dems saw the first of the batches of illegally held documents they decided (on our behalf) to keep them secret until after the midterms so as not to hurt the Dems in the election. So thoughtful of them. 🤬
What’s to keep them from shredding and drenching them in acid baths?

Because the DNC is going to use this to force Biden to resign or at the very least not run for re-election in 2024. Biden made a huge mistake by saying he’s planning to run for a second term.
Too many power thirsty democrats aren’t going to let that fool serve as president until his late 80’s.
I agree. Is the deep state willing to sacrifice Biden in order to “get” President Trump? If so President Trump in 2024.

Maybe because at least two people knew of their existence. A secret such as that can be kept by only one person. Otherwise, it is known as blackmail material.
Because they emit satanic greenhouse gases.
They hung on to that stuff because they intended to use it for blackmail. They probably still do think they need it to control certain unknown actors in their organization.
If that is in fact the case there may be some real threat of violence over issues that may be exposed or people who may be.
These kind of people are not good people they are bad people who you don’t want coming after you president president son or government official of any kind.
These are the kind of people and organizations that actually perform criminal acts against people who are not on their side.
If any of those people could be or have been extorted by the Biden regime the biggest threat is not yo our nation directly but those people who enforced for the Biden crime syndicate to extort money.
Maybe some of the people involved are people who have been pulling Joe’s puppet strings for the hidden Obama shadow government who wants to get rid of him at this point.
When crime families collide there is usually a blood bath.
With so many in our government being part of those crime families one way or another things may get messy and out of hand. There may be central American drug lords involved in my opinion. China is definitely involved in it. The democrats and many republicans have been bought off along with judges who have been threatened and elections which have been stolen outright.
Illegitimate crime syndicate leadership running the nation what could possibly go wrong?
Maybe someone else knew how many and where they were.
Then even if they were burned, someone knew of the existence, and destruction of evidence is worse than just finding them.
