The discovery of a fourth set of classified documents, at the Biden residence in Delaware, has further undermined the White House’s virtual mantra that the president “takes classified documents very seriously.”
Putting aside the repeated movement of highly classified documents over six years, one curious element has emerged in this scandal: the use of private counsel.
Not only did President Joe Biden enlist lawyers to clear out his private Washington office; he then used them — rather than security officers or the FBI — to search for additional classified documents.
The initial use of lawyers is notable. While it seems a fairly pricey moving crew, Biden could argue a trove of documents might require a judgment on where they should be sent and whether they belong to Biden, the Penn Biden Center or the government.
But why was a legal team sent in six years after Biden took the documents on leaving as vice president? Were the lawyers specifically selected because they had clearances, an acknowledgment there might be classified material unlawfully housed in the office?
After the fourth batch of documents was discovered this week (the third found in Delaware), Richard Sauber, referred to as the “special counsel to the president,” stressed that he has a clearance. Sauber admits the lawyers who found the first batch at the residence didn’t have clearances but says he found the later documents.
It remains unclear which lawyers were involved in which discoveries, whether they had clearances and (if so) at what level. In fact, it seems to suggest Biden continued to use uncleared lawyers after his team found highly classified documents Nov. 2 in the Penn Biden office closet in Washington.
That itself could be viewed as gross mishandling of classified information.

Theft of government documents is a felony.
Biden broke federal law by taking documents from the grounds of the White house ... Classified or otherwise!
He did the crime while serving as vice president with no authority to do so while Trump had full authority to declassify and put everything out on the sidewalk if he wished!
It might be a number of different reasons.
Sending his personal lawyers to retrieve documents that were illegally taken from the WH in the first place instead of the proper authorities sounds like a separate criminal violation in and of itself.

I am waiting to hear that the FBI, not Biden's lawyers, ransacked through Jill's clothes closet and her underwear drawers. Until that's been done, it isn't thorough.

He inadvertently tripped as he was innocently fondling an 11 year old white house tourist and inadvertently the docs spilled out of his shirt pockets out a white house window and landed inadvertently in a garage in the next state over,,,,, inadvertently.

This is paramount when viewing classified
documents. Those that view such documents
are briefed as to their contents, and are
sworn in as to any unfaithfulness that
may occur from viewing them.
Any hit on your past, be it a divorce, a
bankruptcy filing, a felony conviction, etc.
will negate your attempt to obtain a
secret and above security clearance.
Basically, anything that can be used as
blackmail. Also, discussion of any document
viewd, discussed in public, will get your
clearance revoked, and your butt in a jail
cell.
I highly doubt (they being lawayers/or not),
would be cleared of any wrongdoing when it
comes viewing classified documents if they
did not have the proper clearances.
Biden did not have the power to declassify
said documents, as that power is only
delegated to POTUS. Anyone below that status
can be held accountable if they’re in
possession if they have not been
declassified.
My curiosity peaks as to how Biden came
to be in possession of these documents
when they’re so tightly controlled.
Why put it aside? That Biden held these documents (and more, probably) for six years and the National Archives nor the FBI did anything about it should tell you this stinking mess isn't just a Biden (or Obama or Clinton or...) thing, it's a deep state thing, too.
My question: Why did the National Archives and FBI, over a six year period, never demand Biden return the documents he took/held after leaving office? It’s easy to see why Biden “forgot.” But how did the agencies forget, for six years, to seek the deturn of the Biden’s docs? They hounded Trump almost from the time he left office. And despite Trump’s cooperation, they still raided his home.
How did they forget Biden for years while remembering Trump?
And that's how the document investigation began with Trump.
Nobody in the current bureaucracy will ever question what a Democrat does based on what he sees on television.

Yes, that is the story I recall as well. National Archive persecution based on “boxes”. But we’ve never been told what they actually held. What documents?
Why? Did he think the FBI would actually blab on him? Their best bud that they always cover for?
