President Biden on Monday called for police officers to be retrained so they’re taught not to use deadly force in every situation that requires them to fire their weapon.
The 80-year-old president’s comments came during the National Action Network’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Breakfast in Washington, DC, as Biden blasted Senate Republicans for blocking a police reform bill in 2021 that would’ve restricted the use of deadly force by law enforcement officers.
“We have to retrain cops,” Biden said. “Why should you always shoot with deadly force? The fact is if you need to use your weapon, you don’t have to do that.”

Biden made a similar suggestion about the use of deadly force by police on the presidential campaign trail in 2020, at the height of the George Floyd riots, arguing that police officers should be trained to shoot threatening individuals “in the leg instead of the heart.”
“Instead of standing there and teaching a cop when there’s an unarmed person coming at them with a knife or something, shoot them in the leg instead of in the heart,” Biden told African American community leaders in June of 2020 at Bethel AME Church in Wilmington, Delaware.

Biden is a product of fantasy television. “Aiming” at a moving target that is shooting at you is an unproven science in a firefight. You shoot what you can get and you aim to center mass so if the target moves during discharge you’ll probably get a piece of something. The Lone Ranger shot the gun out of the villains hand every time. He wasn’t real Joe. He was a fantasy made up to impress kids. No one can do what you want unless the perp is unconscious and you can walk up and do it. Hitting a moving target with a side arm on the run is a whole different action.
It’s very obvious that Joe was never in the military, deferment for asthma, and never in law enforcement plus doesn’t know anything about the use of weapons.

Lessons for retraining Biden: If you have a young impressional intern don’t assume she wants you to stick your fingers up her vagina; if you have a young impressionable daughter, don’t assume she wants to be forced to take naked showers with you; if you insert yourself into a party for your secret service agents, don’t assume the cute girlfriend of one of the agents wants her boobs groped by you; don’t assume that pathologically lying about virtually everything every day of your life won’t eventually come with consequences; don’t figure that you will always get a pass for being a money laundering, bribe soliciting reprobate!

A lot of non-lethal tools have been banned over the years. They were effective, those tools were not painless but they reduced lethal force.

Start with the Capitol Police, the FBI and the Secret Service. Then, every other Federal agency that is armed (all of them).

Shoot them directly in the nuts. That way you can say you were trying for a leg shot but missed a little high. Also, a nut shot man isn’t going to give you or anyone else any more trouble.

Not in some jurisdictions. That may get you prosecuted.
You don’t shoot to kill or to wound, you shoot to stop the person from doing whatever they were doing that they shouldn’t have been doing.
The Capitol police as well.
