I had a brief exchange with a law enforcement type who crowed about how good his armored vest protects him. I told him that an armored vest is immediate cause to shift point of aim to the femoral artery. He just about pooped his pants. Seriously, a vest is a great tool, but it doesn't cover femoral or carotid shots.

Also basically gut and groin as well, those are really bad to be hit in, and the vests dont cover lower gut and groin
