Months after a police officer on Mayor LaToya Cantrell's security team was removed from his post amid an investigation into his pay, a recent legal filing appears to accuse him and the mayor of having an “ongoing sexual relationship.”
New Orleans Police Department Officer Jeffrey Vappie allegedly admitted to his wife that he had an “adulterous affair” with a woman identified in a divorce petition as “L.C.” The brief, filed Jan. 4 by Vappie’s wife, dates the beginning of the relationship to May 2021.

“That is old data (2010-15), from years before Chicago’s murders were daily news.”
Chicago’s murders mainly became daily news because of Obama, and he was elected in 2008, so they were already news during the time this data was collected. Even if you look at the numbers for 2022 or 2023, Chicago is still well below New Orleans in per capita murders.
“But in the last 3 blessed years under Mayor Beetlejuice, murders have soared over 50% to 700-800+ in each of those years, giving Chicago a much higher murder rate than that out of date chart indicates. “
Yet still much lower than the rate in New Orleans, on a per capita basis.
“Is she or is she not a cougar?”
Depends on how you are using the term. If you are asking if she would eat you, then crack open your bones to suck out the marrow, then probably yes.
So bloody what? Are they consenting adults? Then mind your own business.
Chicago makes it up in volume!
This goes beyond the “consenting adults” angle. The lovers may have been in violation of city superior-subordinate policy, and the mayor’s boyfriend may be facing payroll-fraud charges for falsely claiming a large amount of work/overtime hours. Add this to the mayor herself being a do-nothing as records of her schedule show while New Orleans remains a dirty, crime-infested sh*thole of a city.
But wait....there’s more.
