Absolutely, that chart is not fair to Chicago and it's well earned reputation. Murders in 2010-2015 were a mere 500 or less in every one of those years (using official statistics and not the more accurate Heyjackass.com totals). But in the last 3 blessed years under Mayor Beetlejuice, murders have soared over 50% to 700-800+ in each of those years, giving Chicago a much higher murder rate than that out of date chart indicates.
