Police were responding to reports of a shooting that resulted in multiple casualties in Monterey Park on Saturday night, according to a law enforcement source.
Few details were available, including the number of people shot. Internal police communications said there had been some fatalities.

In NYC Chinatown or Corona Queens where there’s a large Asian population occasionally Asian gangs would go at it. But they kept the violence among themselves.
One thought last night was Chicom supporter wanting to attack Taiwanese (or Hong Kongers) like the guy last June in Laguna Woods.
That mass murder last year went into the stop reporting file.
That was my first thought as well.
A Chinese Communist wanting to kill Taiwanese-American people.
And of course the left couldn’t wait to politicize it, all the time pretending to care about the victims and their families. Frankly, the pretense is offensive.
