I do know that if I’m clearing out a village I would prefer to have a hunk of metal protecting my nuts.

That’s the key point. How many battles will NOT be fought because an M1 or two rolled up to an occupied village and dropped a couple shells in on the paroled prisoner slave Russians manning them? Russia is about to have a severe morale problem. LOL.

Lol you have no idea, believe me Russians don’t want to go up against Poles, but make your joke. Russia can’t handle the Ukrainians and you make fun of Poles. Trained with them, suggest you say that their faces. I want to be there

The bill is coming due for the 20,000 Poles shot in the head at Katyn by the Kremlin. Payback is a you know what as they say.

As long as Poland doesn’t support the Bandera-ites who supported killing thousands of Poles in Wołyn.

Putin would have already used nukes if he thought that would work. They won’t work and he won’t use them.

There are always a few nutjobs in every country and they don’t matter in the end. Ukrainians as much Nazis as we are white supremacists. I always found it hilarious to see Putin use Democrat talking points. No sale here.

I agree the Leopard is a great tank.

But I wouldn’t want to be in one on the modern battlefield.

There easily 1/2 dozen first rate ATGMs in circulation that can kill ANY tank. Some are fire and forget. New models defeat active armor.

Just ask Russia. They’ll tell you.

Our Satanic “government” is reprehensible.

This senseless “war” is costing the US TAXPAYER a fortune, and it’s only going to piss off the Russians even more.

Their anger will only escalate into something more dangerous and destructive.

Keep in mind the Russians are very hard people. They burned their own homes and the city of Moscow itself to disallow Napoleon’s troops from gaining possession of their lands.

This “latest move” is just going to lead to more corrupt AF Ukrainian government creeps stealing our money, resources, and defense materiel, and it’s going to cause a very harsh and destructive response from Russia.

It’s LOSE-LOSE to finance and support the criminals in Ukraine.

Then military analysts are not being truthful.
Not my theory.

This whole situation is dangerous and likely will not end well.

I did not specify what equipment. There have been several reports (likely even here) indicating we are short or will be soon.

Hope some of the hawks here will sign up and join the Ukrainians. Globalists want a ground war with us directly involved.

This is dangerous and IMHO will not end well.

Yes, the much vaunted Russian bear needs to be poked. And speared very hard. After all, this brainless Gollum bear is always poking everyone else near them. Making nuclear threats and invasions. This bear thrives on human frailty and fear. Such as yours.

The naysayers on the value of tanks should check Orxy's tracking of Russian and Ukrainian losses. The raw numbers currently show Russia has lost 3.6x as many tanks and 3.1x as many military vehicles overall. This has been consistent since the war started, when the majority of equipment on both sides is Russian.

Russia is fighting this war badly. If they were fighting smarter than Ukraine they would have won already - a point the pro-Russian posters ignore as much as possible.

Most of the advanced Russian military hardware, the Su-57, T-14 Armata, do not exist in significant numbers. Russia's military equipment is largely where it was when the USSR fell, when US and NATO equipment proved what they could do to Russian tanks in the first Gulf War in the 1990s. The Leopards are modern, up to date tanks. As others have posted, support for Leopard tanks is widely available. What NATO's can spare (and replace) is far better than what Russia can deploy.

“Guess I am in the minority in thinking this is going to end very badly for USA.”

The USA is a “Late-Stage” Republic.

This isn’t the cold war and the Soviet Union is no more”.

The US and NATO are in a cold war.

Any Russian parade flies at least one red hammer and sickle flag.

Nextrush I thought Putin lost this months ago

Putin lost his initial goal - to make Ukraine a vassal state like Belarus

This was standard Russian move - as seen in their 2008 invasion of Georgia or going further back, to the invasion of Hungary and Czechoslovakia in 1956 and 1962 respectively. It was a good plan, to cut off the head, but it failed

Ukraine won that first phase of the war

=========

The second phase was to cut off Ukraine from the sea by taking Kherson, then Mykolaiv then Odessa. They captured Kherson but then were crushed at Mykolaiv and got nowhere near Odessa.

This plan B failed decisively in November when Kherson was liberated

Now plan C is to maintain the land bridge to Crimea -- and for THAT, the tanks are needed by Ukraine.

“white Christians killing each other off in fratricidal war.”

On the Russian side, Putin has been sending Muslim jihadis from Chechnya and Buddhist/shamanist Buryats

The US does that because the US

1. Has overwhelmingly more airpower than anyone else

2. Cares more for ensuring that its soldiers live

Russia tried to do this in Feb and March, but failed. The ukrainian airforce, which was very weak, still managed to keep going.

Since then it has gotten worse for the Russians - their planes are shot down and they do not have airspace superiority, leave alone dominance.
