The fact is that Biden is indeed a fake Catholic, a walking scandal, in being the strongest pro-abortion president we’ve had, whilst playing up his nominal membership in the Church. We are not judging him as being condemned; we are speaking the truth and praying for his conversion.
I remember reading in Victor Sheymov’s book Tower of Secrets that the KGB took those who graduated at the bottom of their classes and sent them off to become priests in the Russian Orthodox Church.

I am at a UM church now after escaping a dysfunctional Assembly of God and other evangelical churches... and the marriage to the wacko that wanted a nice trained lapdog to pay her bills.
I kind of like singing some of the old timey hymms in the choir. Seems a lot more reverent than electric guitars, the 300 lb single daughter of the senior pastor leading worship, and commands from the pulpit about who to vote for.
Interesting take on the Samaritan woman at well too. I had always heard “prostitute”. Jesus never used the words customers or clients — he said ‘husbands’. Not 100% honorable, certainly, but this lady still had a decent enough rep to get her town to come out and see the Rabbi.
I'll never forget the day I learned that a portion of my donations to my UM church went to abortion lobbyists.
Who knew that the leaders of the general conference thought that people donate to church to make it harder to save babies from partial birth abortion (what was going on at the time I learned about it)? Literally thousands of babies per year are having their arms and legs held still by an "assistant" to keep the "clump of cells" from interfering with the "doctor" while the "doctor" inserts a sharp pointed suction tube into the "clump of cells" skull and literally sucks the brains out, all while claiming "it" didn't feel any pain. I didn't know that was going on until Bush pushed to ban partial birth abortion. I hoped I could join the fight. Turns out I was helping in the fight --- helping the side of hedonists -- with my donations to my church. It turns out my UM donations were in virtually every abortion battle you can think of for decades, from whether or not welfare money paid for abortions, to state laws about parent notification, to VA benefits paying for abortions, etc. And that's just abortion, they were doing the same thing lobbying for other forms of hedonism to be forced onto Christians.
But no worries. The music leader at the UM church was within your weight tolerance. I guess that's all that matters. As far as guitars go, I guess it's a good thing you weren't there on the Sundays it was my turn to lead children's church. LOL There is nothing God does that's halfway. He's all in. Thus, the music about Him shouldn't express Him in moderation. LOL

Always fun to have these discussions with folks that are certain grace is something that is only God's business and not for them, but judgment and vengeance!?!?! Oh yeah, those things are certainly not over our sanctified pay grade! Be blessed brother.
Yours and my donations to the UM church made it harder for good people like the Green family to use the money God blessed them with only for holy charity and living.
Money talks. When the UM leaders force Christians to financially support hedonism that's an excellent example of hedonist leaders forcing it onto Christians. The same with UM money lobbying against Jack Phillips trying to stay out of supporting gay marriage and now trans insanity. The same with UM money lobbying against the Sisters of the Poor trying not to support hedonism.
UM leaders have for decades been trying to force Christians to financially bow to Moloch. I'm so glad my old local church decided to break away from the UM and join the GM.
Much more fragmented in terms of structure and organization.
Catholics who favor Tradition in general, whether they attend the Mass according to the Roman Rite in Latin according to the 1962 Missal or Roman Rite without Latin according to the 1970 Missal generally have larger families, very traditional on marriage and family, more likely to to question the gender ideology that has been pushed at Schools. I suspect some of those parents at those school board meetings in Virginia and other states questioning the whole gender/transgender movement being pushed on elementary kids were from Traditional Catholic parishes.
I think all of the issues from the DOJ targeting parents who came to the school boards to protest the transgender ideology advocates is correlated with the Traditionalist Catholic Parishes, etc. Just my hunch.
That makes sense.
