Even if the employer is the government?

Our local teachers don't work for the federal government.

"Id say base it on teachers ability to produce good students"

They've already addressed the issue by lowering standards and changing to "woke" curricula, to eliminate teaching anything but the Agenda.

It is a labor issue. Labor votes are all required, every single one.

Therefore, it is a federal issue to be brought forward at the demand of Labor

I know that, but the Fedgov contributes to their paychecks.

So ... if this is a federal mandate ... and if federal funds will be made available ...

Why on earth wouldn’t a town or state kick in the absolute minimum amount of money? Pay the teacher $1 a year if you can get away with it. Or minimum wage if necessary. The town or the state can maximize savings (they can hire more Transgender Advocate Administrators with the money they save by spending as little of their own money on teacher salaries as possible) and the feds will step in and generously give all the teachers a whopping $60,000.

Sure, if it includes an exclusion of public unions for teachers. That would be a fair trade.

I know that the turd roller politicians have always used taxpayer dollars to buy votes but this is getting ridiculous. People currently infesting this continent should be ashamed of themselves. Using their “sacred” vote to bribe bottom feeding politicians. They’re all FOS. Their vote means nothing to them but FREE STUFF for their own greedy azz.

Only if we fire all the incumbents and make them compete in competency tests with new entrants. And fire the least effective 5% every year, every single year.

Someone help me out here. Where in Article I is Congress authorized to set salaries for teachers employed by local government entities (except, apparently in Hawaii where they are state employees).

(I realize it is a foolish question).

Hey Bernie, why not a bill to pay any worker anywhere $60,000 a year? That way you won’t be accused of discrimination.

Killing more public schools.

Wasn't it Baltimore where 23 public schools recently reported that not one student passed the state math proficiency exam?

Wanna bet not one Baltimore teacher in those 23 schools could pass that exam?

The Democrats want more money for unionized highly paid teachers and the Republicans want more money for unionized highly paid police.

And is anyone looking out for taxpayers who cares run the national debt up another trillion or two?

It seems like every element of the government gets worse year after year and yet they are generously rewarded for their failure and corruption by our representatives.

The FBI will get a new facility that will be larger than the pentagon.

The IRS may soon get 87,000 new agents.

The education system in this country has been indoctrinating our children in leftist ideology for decades.

If you subsidize something, you will get more of it.

We’re 31 trillion dollars in debt. Stop the insanity.

Education should not be federally funded to begin with federal funding-federal control.
