Because you non-government, private sector deplorable tax paying peons don't have corrupt union$ backing you up.
Money grows on trees and harvested by communists.
But wait! Many have masters degrees, which makes them smarter than everyone else (but not me, I have a doctorate)*
*And not a joke doctorate like Dr Jill Biden
Only about 8% on average comes from the Feds.
Not sure what this means.
I’d be in favor of raising the minimum wage for teachers to $60,000/year if it is accompanied by a ban on teachers unions.
I'd be in favor of merit pay if there were no unions, good teachers make 6 figures, some less and the bad ones are fired.
Yet we have a general minimum wage.
What’s a minimum teacher? One who can recite the alphabet without help and can count to 20 without taking off his or her shoes?
Good point!
There you are! Problems in education solved by raising teacher pay. That is always the educators mantra. Just pay us more and we will do a better job.
Buy off the communist teachers. Communist teachers indoctrinate the youth (even more than they do right now). The cycle continues. The drain continues to swirl.
This is NOT a Federal issue.
Oh goody. We need to pay newbie teachers right out of perverted universities $60 grand a year to teach kiddos the proper pronoun to use and what are all of the 1000 genders available to them.
Indeed Sanders BS bait he knows teachers unions at 100 % pro democrat they are in the democrat money loop.
Democrats give them more money they give the votes a endless cycle.
JFK gave civil servants the right to unionize for a reason.
SANDERS sure thinks money grows on trees.
HE NEVER HAD A SINGLE JOB IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR
Reminds me of Pirhana fish-—always taking/killing things
In some schools-—Teachers are SHOT by 6 year olds-—and NO CHARGES are brought
Bernie lives in imaginary socialist America.
Where socialist like himself are quite wealthy.
The states should be in charge of education. In fact, I think the local government should ultimately be in charge of the schools.
Pay of $60k per year would be a pay cut for half the teachers in our schools. And our graduation rates reflect it. So don’t my tax bills.
