Probably best to ignore Trump. It is a damned if you do and damned if you don’t person. Trump is never happy.
It’s not a question of whether Trump is happy or not. I think he calculates that this approach is what works for him. You may disagree, but in his mind he thinks, it has gotten him further than if he did otherwise.
