Massachusetts Poll: Donald Trump Leads Ron DeSantis by 24 Points

Former President Donald Trump holds a 24-point advantage over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in Massachusetts, according to a Boston Herald/Opinion Diagnostics poll.

The Boston Herald survey was conducted in the two days after a New York grand jury voted to indict Trump. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump focuses on his alleged role in paying porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 in hush money.

The poll found that 45 percent of likely Republican presidential primary voters in Massachusetts would support Trump, compared to 21 percent supporting DeSantis.

The rest of the candidates, which included declared ones like Nikki Haley or hypothetical ones like former Vice President Mike Pence, failed to get double-digit support.

Massachusetts 2024: Trump Holds 24-Point Lead for Republican Nomination

DeSantis — 21%
Haley — 9%
Pence — 3%

2-Way:
• Trump — 46%
• DeSantis — 32%

However, 19 percent of likely Republican voters in Massachusetts remain undecided.

Opinion Diagnostics president Brian Wynne told the Boston Herald, “the indictment has helped Trump with his standing in this poll.”

“Overall, Trump is in an extremely strong position,” Wynne added.

Of the 475 respondents, 75 percent believe the indictment was a “politically motivated attack by a Democratic district attorney.”

Trump will appear before the Manhattan Courthouse on Tuesday for his arraignment, where he is expected to enter a “not guilty” plea.

Don’t be fooled, boys and girls. If DJT is the nominee next year he’ll only get about 15% of the vote here in the Gay State. In fact no more than 25% of those who call themselves Republicans will vote for him.

The ballot falsification and suppression process focuses on red and blue areas.

Ignore the primary. Trump is the unquestioned nominee. Ignore the media, who serve only the Swamp where they live (they are all in DC or NYC).

The issue is Independents. Where is the polling of them? It is they who are nearly impossible to target with ballot processes. Why are there no polls of them, who decide elections, still?

Reported by Fox that DeSantis said he would keep Trump safe from arrest in Florida.

As you know, Mr. Gay State, there are only about one hundred Republicsns in Massichusetts and their votes go straight into the waste basket. There is no hope for Massachusetts.

I don’t think anybody, even DeSantis supporters deny Trump is pretty strong when it comes to the primaries. If only this appeal extended outside the Republican camp.

No hope? Oh,you’re such a pessimist! Just today I saw a house in my neighborhood that had The Big Guy’s yard signs in 2020 and a Range Rover and a Tesla in the driveway but now has a “This Is MAGA Country” yard sign! ;-)

Trump got 32% of the vote in MA in 2020. Your 15% number doesn't doesn't sound right.

The state has sunk even deeper into depravity in the last few years. For example:in 2020 we had a Republican Governor (yes,he was a RINO) and now we have a bull dyke Rat Party Governor who, during the Rat Party’s Summer of Love (2020),cheered on the arsonists.

You are in the wrong forum. There is no such thing as a gay conservative. Go get some therapy.

Until recently my FR profile page had a detailed explanation of my screen name. The semi official nickname of Massachusetts is "The Bay State". Shortly before I signed up to FR the Massachusetts state Supreme Court had ruled that homosexual "marriage" was guaranteed under the state constitution. When that was announced Howie Carr,a great Boston talk show host (and huge DJT supporter), dubbed this state "the Gay State".

Never been "gay"...never will be.

Be careful to whom you offer advice on FR.
