Well a lot of those underclasses with kids are lifelong Democrats too. But the white single woman vote 18-40 or so is so far left I don’t even want to see the current stats.
Also, far from removing the abortion debate from the national stage, I think the Dobbs decision is going to ensure that abortion and the "Codify Roe" campaign will be an issue for the foreseeable future.
IMO, it’s the combination of a lack of critical thinking skills (drugs, etc.) and the pervasive power of social media that has doomed the younger generations. It’s gonna take a real Fourth Turning event, such as a collapse of our economic system and a decreased standard of living, to wake up these narcissistic fools. I say this with the knowledge that 2 of my 3 adult children, both millennials and incredibly bright otherwise, nevertheless voted for the Obama/Clinton/Biden dream of socialism. 🤬
You people have to stop whining about voting.
We are a minority, and a shrinking minority at that. Stop obsessing about voting, because voting isn’t going to get it done.
If any Cheesehead tells me I’m stupid for moving to Florida, I’ll simply say, “At least we aren’t putting Communists on our Supreme Court.”
So SCOTUS is supposed to let an bogus Supreme Court ruling stand just to keep Democrats from winning elections? SCOTUS should really start overturning other rulings as cases are brought, such as Obergefell v. Hodges, Lawrence v. Texas, Reynolds v. Sims, etc.
This mess seems to be less a mistake on the Supreme Court’s part than it is a damning implicit indictment of many female voters.
Like I said, I’m anti-abortion. But doing it is going to cause a huge boomerang and already has. Just the price to pay for going there.
The mail ins are the fraud 🙄
That's why I'm wary of current legislation in Florida's legislation to restrict abortion to the first six weeks. We did great with the 15-week ban, even after Roe was overturned. A 6-week ban could conceivably turn Florida blue again, and that would be accompanied by more gun control, higher taxes, state-sponsored riots, higher spending, soft-on-criminal policies and so on.
(Note: I do support Dobbs; Roe was an egregious error. However, legislatures have to be careful. Too many female voters apparently value the "right" to have consequence-free sex over good governance, and many others simply want abortion as a just-in-case option. Sad.)
Re: 46 - No, it’s fraud, blah, blah, blah.
Kelly was a poor choice for a candidate. Dems outworked Republicans.
It’s doesn’t help that there are a lot of mouth slobbering Republicans that say that a loss, ANY loss, is ALWAYS due to fraud. That sort of thinking leads to the inability to consider that maybe the candidate was just bad.
Consequence-free sex for the ladies, as well as the just-in-case option.
Better warm up your vocal cords.
Yep. The Commie judge’s margin looks pretty solid to me.

How stupid are people who can’t avoid pregnancy if they don’t want it?
1 out of 3 seems to be the norm which spells doom for the Republic. Ben Franklin’s words certainly come to the fore. “We have given you a Republic if you can keep it”. I don’t think we can.
Stupid Republicans like Linda Graham should stop saying how GOP is going to pass laws to ban abortions.

Maybe she won’t. She is a Democrat, in a state that doesn’t elect Democrats, who runs as a Republican.
The stupid & Satanist contingents are a majority.
Just my observation, but it used to be people would drift more conservative from the 20’s to early 30’s.
From what I’m seeing since 9/11 that just isn’t the case as far as people trending right with age.

There is another problem. The amoung of people who talk about seeing their therapists and taking drugs given by psychistrists. Without solving this problem, I don’t think one can solve the other.
We will know that we are making progress when statistics show that the number of people who use drugs from psychiatrists is less than the previous year.
If that is not solved, forget about those people having a positive influence on the government.
Agree. I believe the Dobbs decision overturning Roe V Wade played a bigger part in the GOP underperforming in the midterms than most realize.
There are a lot of independent and Republican leaning women who normally would’ve voted GOP in the midterms but likely didn’t due to Roe being overturned. Even many so called Republican women voters hold the “right” to murder their babies in the womb sacrosanct and will even vote against their own party and common sense if that “right” is taken away.
Also, maybe many in the Religious Right who are fervently anti-abortion and normally vote for life (GOP) stayed home, satisfied that Roe was overturned. Many places saw significant DECREASED midterm voter turnout from the last midterm in 2018.
Amen!
