A Whole Foods store that opened a year ago in downtown San Francisco is closing, reportedly because of rampant crime.
"We are closing our Trinity location only for the time being," the company said in a statement Monday to the San Francisco Standard. "If we feel we can ensure the safety of our team members in the store, we will evaluate a reopening" of the location at 8th and Market streets.
The Standard, citing an unnamed City Hall source, said Whole Foods had cited drug use and crime near the store as reasons for the closure.

The âWokeâ certainly are arrogant, rebellious, insane, Godless and acting like animals as the âBlueâ cities and areas they rule sink into lunacy, crime, violence and madness. The leaders in these âBlueâ places allow criminals to run wild, the homeless suffering the bondage of drugs and mental illness to live in the streets indeed like animals, once great cities now covered in filth, needles, crime, economic decline and chaos.
Has God “cancelled” the minds of the âWokeâ as He did Nebuchadnezzar? After seven years God restored Nebuchadnezzarâs mind (Daniel 4:34-37) and the king then humbled himself and praised God, will Americaâs âWokeâ gain itsâ sanity and return to the Lord? Prayers they (we?) shall or destruction will be Americaâs bitter fruit. God Bless!

This is status quo for much of liberal land. Next thing you know, the buns will break into the closed stone and pitch their tents (next to the liquor aisle). Some liberal judge will rule that all the tent dwellers have established âresidencyâ and have the ârightâ to remain.
Canât happen? Think again. During Covid, San Francisco placed the homeless in hotels. They actually delivered drugs and alcohol to the bums at the hotel.
I can just see some liberal judge ordering the store, even though it is closed, to keep the liquor aisle stocked so the bums occupying the store can âaccessâ the alcohol.

Nor surprising. I don’t see how any retail store in downtown SF stays in business. I shop at Walgreen’s near the corner of 4th and Market. Almost every day, I see theft. And its so casual: the thieves act as if they have a right to take the merchandise; that it belongs to them; and that anyone who interferes is stealing from those who steal.
I do know that America should be moving closer to God rather than moving away from Him.
It does bear repeating that san fran SH is so badly failed. As are most democommie run big cities. And democommie run small ones as well.
How long until the black community or the sexual weirdo community calls the closing 'racist'? 10...9...8...7...
If it's that rampant, aren't you concerned about your own safety?
The people of San Francisco will no longer be able to Steal healthy food!
San Francisco has zero gun shops any more. Plus, none of the employees know how to use firearms, and would be icked out by the thought of carrying them on the job.
