Planet Earth continues to run a fever. Data released by the Copernicus Climate Change Service last week showed that March of 2023 was the planet’s second-warmest month in recorded history, registering average global temperatures 0.92 degrees Fahrenheit above normal high temperatures measured between 1991 and 2020.
Above-normal monthly temperatures haven’t just become the norm thanks to climate change; they are all but guaranteed. The heat in March marked the 529th consecutive month of hotter-than-normal temperatures in comparison to the 20th century average.
March was the 529th straight month hotter than the 20th century average. If you're younger than 44, you've never seen a cooler-than-normal month.
In fact, the last eight years have been the warmest eight in recorded history, while only three of those featured an El Niño weather pattern.

Sure past tired of their bs. They won’t be happy until ice covers everything.
There were once tropical plants in the artic circle. Bring back the plants!
YAY more crop production
Last week the Atlanta area experienced 31F temperature in the morning. I’m 73. The average temperature hasn’t really changed in my lifetime.
When the world is on the precipice of war, and economies are crumbling, there is always the global warming card to keep the proletariat distracted.
not if we can’t use fertliizer
Straight BS.
1) I don't think this is true at all.
2) If it is true, it's good. Warm periods are good periods. You really don't want to live in a Little Ice Age (which we were in as recently as 1850).
the average moves ... continuously ... they’re called moving averages ...
This is an old fashioned, flat out, lie. If anyone believes this propaganda, take 30 seconds and lookup: https://www.drroyspencer.com/latest-global-temperatures/
This is the gold standard of temperatures from satellite monitoring. It too, uses the 1991-2020 period as the basis. It shows many, maybe half, of the months are below the average of that period..
Is this guy a comedian?
We just had the all time biggest coldest snow year in the West!
Skiing at Squaw Valley until July.
900” of snow top of Mammoth. Same at Alta.
Idiot lives under a rock?
Pretty damn cool and miserable La Nina year, on the Oregon coast. Bring the heat and El Nino.
Higher temps can lead to increased water vapor in the air over the Pacific. When it gets over cooler land, it’ll dump out as precipitation. That’s what California got hit with this La Nina The climate freaks can play any weather event to their advantage, with the unthinking masses.
Sure Poindexter.
the ‘experts’ did not predict the winter of extreme precipitation which we just experienced in California etc, ending the La Nina drought cycle. this was rather a large ‘miss,’ i would say. so don’t really set much store in predictions now.
its been a very nice and cool spring here in Texas.
But I guess I shouldn’t notice that but instead believe someone who earlier tied themselves to a tree!
We are. Early at the end of a particularly brutal winter in my neighborhood.
Not with the EPA controlling water even mud puddles.
