My great uncle was a 17 yearold immigrant from Norway when he was drafted into the Union army to fight for the North. He was killed in a battle shortly after. He had no opportunity to have decedents. It seems like our family deserves reparations for that.
I have one great uncle and one great-great uncle who were KIA. The first was mortally wounded and then taken prisoner.
