Too many unkind things are going through my mind about this whole thing. I don’t know this guy, so I am not going to pigeonhole him.
To put it bluntly, the guy will never last. He’s middle right, comes across tentative and rehearsed and I question if he is a true conservative.

I wonder how reporters and anchors at network headquarters, and in Fox local newsrooms around the country — who have been doing stellar work for 15, 20, or more years — feel about the sudden elevation of a guy who was peddling his bike to junior high when they were on the beat reporting actual news stories and anchoring newscasts.
I like Jones, but it’s a poison pill for him to go into Tuckers slot, this a bad career move in IMHO.
He’s an uninteresting black libertarian which will have to fill his show with pap and filler, and very lame ‘man on the street’ interviews, and if you’ve seen one of those, then you’ve seen them all. He’s going to flop right out of the gate. Fox is doing this because they’re only paying him a tiny fraction of what they were shelling out for Big ratings Tucker.
When his ratings don’t come near Tucker’s they can say the racist FNC viewers rejected him because of his skin color
I tended to like Lawrence Jones (when I was watching fox) but it looks like an affirmative action pick to me.
He ain’t no Tucker that’s for sure......but then again......who is?
